Leaving Rochester

Rochester seems to be one of the busiest places I've have ever been next to Boston, Ma. People drive crazy all of the time. Actually this was a slow time of the day. Rush hour is much crazier!

Going through Rochester

This is just a picture of a little pond we passed today coming back from the movies in Henrietta. I guess I thought I could find something pretty to look at while other wise there was just plenty of cars, bridges, under passes and over passes.

BeeBe Lake Cornell, NY

This is a most amazingly beautiful picture of some people on the bridge over looking BeeBe Lake in Cornell, NY. Sometimes God just gives us the most generous gifts. The scenery is something that just simply amazes me time and time again.

I have also discovered in the summer of 2006, I love going to the races. Who ever would have guessed. This was my boys favorite car.

This is a wild pony???

This photo is of my son trying to lure a "Wild Pony" over to him at Assauteaqe Bay, other wise known as "Pony Island". This place was amazing. You can camp here, go off roading with proper gear, and walk the dunes and the beach. The boys had an amazing time.

I took this photo from our boat as we were cruising back from the Taughannack State Park after picnicing with friends. I love taking photos from the boat. I have yet to take some really incrediable pictures of the sailboats. Maybe this summer.

Picking up seashells along the beach

Summer is a fun time, especially if you're a kid. This is a photo of my son taken in the summer of 2004 as he scouts the shore for shells, fossils, and soft washed glass.

I was taking a drive to my sister's house along the country side, and came up upon this farm. I thought it was a nice setting with the fields and snow.

Well...I guess you could say...How Redneck......

My family and I went to are local mall, and it was funny because my Aunt from Florida was making a comment the day to me about how
redneck New Yorkers are. Well I guess she's right. Only in New York can you find a snowman on the back of a Ford truck in a mall parking lot with sunglasses and a glass beer bottle nose.

Mid winters storm

I captured this photo of a winter storm rolling in over my neighbors house. I hope he doesn't mind that I took this photo. However I tried to capture the sunshining in his lawn, as the storm is coming in behind his house. Actually as bad as the sky looked, it kind of just blew over.

This is how the sky looked at about 3pm on Saturday, January 21, 2006. It rained a little, it snowed a little, and the sun came out a little. It started out at 54 degrees fahrenheit. It qiuckly dropped as the wind picked up. Then temperature dropped to 43, then by around 7:30pm it dropped down in the 30's again. I can't complain it's been a very mild winter!

This photo was taken from the car coming back from Ithaca. It is of Cayuga Lake and the trees. For being in motion with a digital camera I didn't think this photo came out too bad. The lake was very choppy on this day.

Another Holiday

Valentine's Day

Another fun holiday. Holidays are what you make them, you can either be a scrooge or you can make them fun. I think even after my kids are grown up and out of the house, holiday decorating will always be a big part of my life. Valentine's Day is big in my house I always leave out a few gifts for each family member from "Cupid" on the dinning room table. The boys really enjoy the holidays at our house because they are so special. They will remember the memories for years to come. Hopefully they will carry out a few traditions I have shared with them.

The Barenaked Tree of Winter

I took this picture of a winter tree in my back lawn. Winter is the time of year where everything seems to be lifeless and grey. A time where the whole world seems to be asleep. It's the quiet time of year. How I long for springs birth of all new things, and the sites and sounds of life again.

In this picture the sun was shining for a change, that doesn't happen very often in our New York winters. So as much as I complain about winter this was a beautiful sunshiney day.
